We want to check in: would you like to keep in touch with and support COSL, as you have in the past?

Hi subscriber,

This is a one-time mailing about your privacy rights as a past financial supporter of Prostasia Foundation.

When you supported Prostasia Foundation, you believed in a safer, freer internet: one built on protection without censorship, and community over control.

Today, that vision is alive and evolving as the Center for Online Safety and Liberty (COSL). COSL is a new umbrella for multiple independent projects that support online safety and liberty. The previous work of Prostasia continues as one of those projects under the independent leadership of Dr Kristin Spooner, but COSL is now doing much more.

The privacy of your personal information is now handled by COSL, as Prostasia’s new fiscal sponsor. You now have the option to transfer your financial support to COSL, or to request us to delete the personal information that we hold.

While the choice is up to you, we’d like to encourage you to consider supporting us. Thanks to early supporters of Prostasia like you, COSL has already:

  • Launched the Harmful to Minors Archive, the first community-driven archive of platform takedown actions.
  • Created the Beyond the Filter podcast, a deep dive bringing professionals together to discuss censorship in the digital age.
  • Brought to life Liberato, the safer hosting service for communities who need it most.

Your generosity helped spark a movement for digital freedom, safety, and community care.

But there’s so much more we can (and must) do, and we need your help again.

With your renewed support, we can:

  • Launch new safer online communities, like the forthcoming Fan Refuge
  • Build safer tech tools for vulnerable groups
  • Fight back against harmful online regulations, together

The heart of COSL is the same: a safer internet, built with care, not control. We would be honored to have you with us again. Your past donations helped spark this. Imagine what we can build next!

Your choice is simple. If you’d like to continue to support COSL’s work and stay informed, click either (or both!) of the buttons below. If you don’t click either, then you won’t hear from us again and we’ll remove your personal information from the COSL records.

You were with us from the start, and we hope you’ll stay in touch. Let’s keep building together.

P.S. Even $10 makes a real difference when we come together. We would also love to have you in our community on Discord, and to hear your comments on our blogs and social media, where your voice can mold COSL’s journey.
