Liberato is the foundation of many of COSL’s supported charitable projects. As a nonprofit that values both safety and liberty, our projects demand a high level of trust that their privacy is guaranteed, their freedom of expression protected, and trust and safety upheld.
This trust is worth more than money. But it does cost real money to run an online hosting service that provides our projects with this level of trust, while also competing with commercial offerings.
Liberato’s infrastructure, established in 2021, is long past due for an upgrade. Its old HDD storage, although fine for static websites, is just too slow to properly stream the content that we’ll be serving for Fan Refuge. We’re ready to fix this, but we need your help.
Your support will enable us to migrate our cluster of servers over to newer hardware, with much faster SSD storage. This will benefit all Liberato hosted users and services, including multiple COSL-supported projects.
