Prevention Today for a Safer Tomorrow

Prevention Today for a Safer Tomorrow is a legacy project centered around child sexual abuse (CSA) prevention. Some of the activities from this project are ongoing under independent management, others are archived, while others are orphaned and looking for new maintainers. These include:

  • Hosting, evaluation, and oversight of an anti-abuse peer support service
  • Archival of existing public education materials on abuse prevention
  • A web-based discussion forum on stigma and abuse prevention
  • A Zotero bibliography of scholarly writing on CSA
  • Deterrence advertising in Google Search Ads (orphaned)
  • Supporting research into abuse prevention and mental wellness (orphaned)

Unlike our other priority projects, direct links to most of the activities from Prevention Today for a Safer Tomorrow are not given here because–ironically–they have themselves attracted bullying and abuse. For the prevention of abuse survivors and help-seekers, links to these resources are given only on request.

To find out more about our any of these legacy activities, to volunteer to take stewardship of any of them, or to propose your own Cyberbullying and Abuse project for fiscal sponsorship, contact us.
