Fundraising/Membership Officer

You will be responsible for cultivating and growing COSL’s membership base and fundraising initiatives. You will actively welcome new members, manage memberships, and engage with small donors. You will promote membership and fundraising opportunities via social media, newsletters, and targeted email campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Send personalized welcome letters and create accounts for new members on our forums and website.
• Promote membership and fundraising through effective outreach via social media and newsletters.
• Plan and promote membership benefits.
• Compose targeted communications to members and small donors to boost engagement and fundraising.
• Analyze and improve conversion rates.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in membership management, donor relations, or fundraising activities.
• Proficiency in email marketing, social media outreach, and community engagement.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
• Basic familiarity with analytics is preferred.

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time, volunteer (approximately 5-10 hours/week).
